A special experimental xboard with GNU's Readline-Support (Command line editing and history functions on the Cursor keys) is now available for download.
Notice: While editing a command line in this version, all output from the chess server is stopped. You need to be aware of this fact, since also the board/position/clock won't be refreshed until you are done sending your command or message.
